Heat the polystick and drip into the damaged area in the base. Let it cool down and scrape away the excess with a steel scraper, or panzer file if necessary, and polish over with Fibertex for a fine finish.

It is important that the scraper is sharp at all times. This makes it easy and effective to work on the base surface. The less sharp the scraper is, the more pressure is required. This may negatively affect the properties of the base. Sharpen the scraper using Swix T0408, T410 and T412-220.

PS10 is an economic training and racing wax as well as base prep wax for warm skis. Easy to melt and very convenient to work with. The speed of the iron should be approx. 8-10 sec. on a skating or alpine ski. The wax can be re-heated after cooling to room temperature (10 min) for better durability. It's important to have a good iron to get an efficient melting of the wax. Recommended iron temp: 120°C (248°F).
